Manx cycling star Peter Kennaugh Junior has enjoyed his first big win in Italy.
The British Under-23 Road Champion is based in Italy as part of the British Olympic Development programme.
Wearing his national champion jersey, he attacked in the final kilometres of the Trofeo Bastianelli race to win by 15 seconds in a time of 3 hours, 36 minutes exactly.
Meanwhile, Peter's younger brother Tim finished fourth in the British National Junior Road Race Championship in Buckinghamshire.
Kennaugh featured in the early moves and was in a group of 10 riders which included fellow Manxman Mark Christian.
Last years bronze medalist Erick Rowsell attacked on the final lap and rode to victory on his own. Behind, Junior Paris Roubaix winner Andrew Fenn, Sandy King and Kennaugh were the only riders to respond.
Fenn took silver and King just held off a fast finishing Kennaugh at the line. Christian finished 10th.
