Move over 'Morecambe Missile', the 'Bingley Bullet' has the chance to rewrite the TT history books today (Friday).
Yorkshireman Ian Hutchinson lines up for the blue riband Senior race knowing victory would make him the first rider ever to stand at the top of the podium for five solo races in one TT week.
He set up the opportunity yesterday, by claiming victory in a thrilling Supersport 2 race by just over a second from Michael Dunlop.
At the media conference afterwards, Hutchinson wasn't getting carried away with things when asked if he thought he could do it (play audio file):
The six lap Dainese Senior TT is due to start at 12.30pm, with roads around the course scheduled to close at 10am, and the mountain section at 9.30am.
The Senior race will be preceded by parade laps, include one by Suzuki machines to mark the Japanese manufacturer's 50 years association with the TT.
