Report by Ben Cunningham:

Following the conclusion of the leagues, this weekend sees the finals of the men's and ladies cup, plate and bowl, with two fixtures on Friday night and four fixtures on the Saturday all taking place at the NSC.

Friday night sees both plate finals take place, the first game at 7pm sees Harlequins ladies A play Valkyrs ladies B. When both these two teams met in the league both games were very close with one ending a draw and the other a narrow 1-0 to Harlequins In what was a very end to end game, Valkyrs B will definitely be hoping they can stop Harlequins from doing the double and getting the league and the plate.

The second final on Friday night which pushes back at 8.30pm sees Harlequins Men's A play Valkyrs Men's B. In the league Harlequins came out on top in both games winning so Valkyrs will definitely be looking to make sure they do get a third win over them, Harlequins though will be looking at trying to match their ladies team and try and also do the double and get the plate along side the league title they have won.

The first final to push back on Saturday at 11.05am is the Ladies Bowl that sees Ramsey ladies B play Castletown ladies C. Looking at when both these two met in the league Castletown got the better of Ramsey both times, the northerners will be hoping they can get their hands on some silverware but have got a tough task ahead over the southerners who will want to add the bowl to the league win they already have.

Second match at 12.35pm on Saturday is a big one in the Ladies Cup! It sees Vikings ladies A play Castletown Ladies A who took the crown off Vikings in the league this year. Looking at the league when these two met a draw and a win for Castletown helped them go on to take the title, Vikings will be definitely looking to make sure that they don’t let Castletown take this silverware away from them but Castletown have looked a really strong team this year.

Next on at 2.05pm is the Men's Cup which sees Bacchas Men's A play Vikings Men's A. Bacchas really have made a strong statement in the league be overcoming Vikings both times when they have met in the league. Vikings have had a mixed bag of a season after not getting the best starts their form did improve, however Bacchas have been scoring plenty of goals and have a very good defensive record this season.

Final game of the finals weekend is the Men's Bowl which sees Ramsey Men's B play Castletown Men's B. The Southerners come into this game after taking the league title and when theirs two both met in the league Castletown took the win both times. Ramsey will be hoping they can get their hands on the bowl but it will be a hard task playing a Castletown team that have been undefeated all season.

All matches are being played at the NSC and if your looking for something to do coming on down and watch the Manx talent that will be on pitch in all the finals.
