Island number one Billy Harris is off to Wimbledon.
The 18 year-old has been given a Wild Card for Junior Wimbledon and is due to play his first match on the lush grass court on Saturday.
The news was confirmed last night.
Harris, who plays for Albany Tennis Club, is said to have impressed officials while in action in a tournament in Roehampton earlier this week.
He was narrowly beaten in a third set tiebreak by the competition’s number seven seed, Filippo Baldi.
