Manx golfer Ana Dawson has progressed to the final qualifier of the Ladies European Tour Qualifying School.

She's been taking part in the pre-qualifier event at Real Golf La Manga Club in Spain from Saturday (10 December) through to today (13 December).

The top 62 players from the pre-qualifier are progressing, with Ana finishing tied in 45th position.

In the first round, Ana started strong finishing on par score (71) on the resort's north course.

The following stage out on the south course proved tough as she finished on a score of 83 at ten-over-par.

Ana then produced impressive displays in the final two stages to bring her back into the mix.

In round three she finished on par (71) on the north course before a two-under-par score (71) on the south course to finish with an overall tally of eight-under-par.

The pre-qualifier's joint highest scorers were Benyapa Niphatsophon of Thailand and Emma Spitz of Austria who finished with an overall score of four-under-par.

The Ladies European Tour Qualifying School Final Qualifier will also take place at the Real Golf La Manga Cub from 17-21 December.
