A late goal-line clearance from Josh Thomas ensured Old Boys secured the points.

Reigning champions St George’s maintained their 100 per cent start to the season with a fine 3-0 win at Rushen.

First half goals from Jack McVeigh – a sweet 20 yard volley – and Chris Bass ensured the Geordies had a two goal advantage at the break.

McVeigh added a third from the penalty spot to seal victory.

St Mary’s put nine past lowly Union Mills at the Bowl to preserve their unbeaten record.

Steven Priestnal, Marc Priestnal and Darren Hudgeon all scored twice and were joined on the scoresheet by Karl Clark, Harry Weatherill and Josh Molyneux in a 9-3 romp.

Kyle Uren and Charlie Robinson were among the Millers’ scorers.

A dream start helped Corinthians to victory in their first match since the death of skipper Louis Thornton.

They scored three early goals en route to seeing off bottom club Ayre United 8-3 at Ballafletcher.

Hat-tricks from Josh Ridings and Danny Oram and one each from Chris Cannell and Sean Doyle ensured a home win on an emotional day for the club.
