Foxdale fightback maintains top spot

Youth Centre join them at summit

There’s joint leaders of JCK Division Two as they both secured fine away wins on Saturday.

Foxdale won the big match of the day at Castletown.

Richard Foden had given Town an ideal start with the opener after four minutes but Foxdale capitalised on Town’s weaknesses after the break – Jay Chatwood and Charlie Harrison the marksmen to keep them top.

That’s a position they hold with Ramsey Youth Centre after Lewis Moran (two), Tony Bayle and Declan Cummins were on target in a 4-0 success at struggling Gymns.

Kevin Druggan scored the only goal of the game as Marown edged out Pulrose at Crosby, while a Mark Rees double and a Chris Ashbridge goal saw high-flying Onchan win impressively, 3-0 at Malew.

Chris Kelly scored four as Union Mills ran out 8-2 winners at home to lowly Michael.

Colum Gerrity, Dylan Campbell and Dylan McLean joined him on the scoresheet and there was also an own goal.

Stephen Quayle and Michael Corlett notched consolations for Michael.

Ayre United were pushed hard by Governor’s Athletic but return home with a 3-2 triumph.
