Southern Nomads welcome Ramsey in cup tie

The first competitive Rugby games will be played at Ballakilley in the south of the Island on Saturday afternoon.

Southern Nomads new home has been tagged as the Field of Dreams and they welcome Ramsey for a Manx Cup tie.

On the adjacent pitch, Emerging Nomads play Ramsey "B" in a Manx Plate game.

In North One West, Douglas will be hoping for a winning start to the new year when they host struggling Bowden at Port-e-Chee.

Vagabonds make the long trip to Oswestry in Lancashire and Cheshire Division Two with little separating the teams in the table.

And Vagas women are off-Island to face Sale 1861 in the NC1 North West league.
