FC Isle of Man - We 'misjudged' ticket prices

Club releases statement on prices and new appointments

FC Isle of Man has apologised to supporters over its ticket prices this season, saying they 'misjudged' the situation.

Club Chair, Gill Christian's comments form part of a statement updating fans on both tickets and new appointments within the club.

Mrs Christian says season ticket uptake this season was 'not as we had expected', adding 'I don’t think we fully appreciated how much people are really struggling financially right now – for that I apologise and we apologise – it seems we got our pricing wrong, we misjudged it'.

Whilst the club says it's 'unable to retreat' from its pricing structure now due to NWCFL rules, it'll be launching a ten-game pass which it hopes will have good uptake in the run-up to Christmas.

Meanwhile, FC Isle of Man has also confirmed three new appointments to its board of directors.

Lee Dixon will take up a role as Director of Operations - Andy Birchall of the Ravens 12th Man supporters group also joins the board as well as Ewan Heap who will assist across all departments.

Interim Manager, Paul Jones, has also resigned from board duties.
