FC Isle of Man start date for 2023/24 season confirmed

But fixtures at least a few weeks away, NWCFL says

FC Isle of Man now know the date on which their next season in the NWCFL Premier Division season will get underway for 2023/24.

The NWCFL has announced it intends to begin the next campaign for all three of its divisions on Saturday, 29 July.

The organisation says this will allow clubs in their leagues involved in the Emirates FA Cup to get at least one competitive league fixture prior to their cup game.

However, the NWCFL adds there are 'a few things that need sorting' before fixtures for next season are released.

Officials currently estimate fixtures will be published in the region of the end of June or early July.

FC Isle of Man finished 13th in the NWCFL Premier Division last season after a strong end to the campaign which saw them record five consecutive wins.

For 2023/24, the division will be slightly larger with 24 teams involved.
