Equestrian: Yasmin Ingham off to flying start at World Championships

Manx star puts in fourth best ever dressage test at a world championship

Manx equestrian star Yasmin Ingham has got off to a flying start at this year's FEI World Championships.

Riding Banzai du Loir, Ingham topped the standings after this morning's session (15 September) of the dressage test at the championships taking place in Pratoni, Italy.

She and Banzai du Loir managed a score of 22.0 to take the initial lead in the rankings - it's the fourth best ever dressage test result at a world championship.

The dressage test continues this afternoon at 2pm and will run until tomorrow (16 September).

After that will be the Cross-Country stage on Saturday (17 September) with the Jumping test then taking place on Sunday (18 September).
