Elite sports academy coming to Island

Netball tournament to feature on Saturday

The World Elite Sports Preformance Academy is coming to the Isle of Man.

WESPA is currently negotiating a partnership with King William's College to establish a full-time base on the Island.

The organisation will bring its under-14 Fire Netball squad for a training camp at KWC on Saturday followed by the inaugural WESPA Netball Challenge Cup in Douglas.

The tournament will feature four teams in a round-robin format.

WESPA Fire is coached by New Zealander Melissa Hyndman who was previously in charge of the Welsh national squad.
