Champs fight back against arch rivals
The champions have dropped their first points of the season.
But Bacchas A showed exactly why they’re top dogs with a stirring fightback against their arch rivals.
They shared eight goals with Valkyrs A, who had led 4-2 at the break.
Two strikes from Gareth Morris, one from Juan Killey and a Greg Miller penalty put them in the box seat.
But Bacchas showed their character by coming back to draw – Jonny Callow (two), James Harrison and Andy Whiting their scorers.
Vikings A have moved to within a point of Bacchas A after edging out the Bacchas B team 3-2.
They had taken the lead through Karl Moore before Vikings A took control to win the match with Andy Harding, Steve Crowe and Alex Birch all on target.
George Harrison pulled one back but the B team couldn’t do their A side a favour.
Elsewhere in the PWC Mixed Premier League, Robin Masson was the star with two goals while Paul Kelly grabbed the other as Celts saw off newly promoted Harlequins A 3-1, for whom Kirin Gilmore scored.
