Rider voted into Digital Jersey
Manx professional cyclist Anna Christian impressed on the first day of the Tour de Yorkshire
The Trek Drops rider won the 'Digital Jersey', which is new to the women's race, having been in the men's one since 2015, when it became the first cycling event on earth to award a jersey based on a live, in-race public vote.
People are asked to vote for the rider who they think has most enlivened the action before the end of each stage, by submitting their votes on the official Tour de Yorkshire Twitter page.
Anna was involved in a two-rider break, which was reeled in before the end of the stage, which was contested by the sprinters.
The stage was won by Dutch rider Kirsten Wild.
