Bacchas and Vikings close in on titles

Saracens men get first win of campaign

Vikings "A" have a firm grip on the Rossborough Women's Hockey Premier League title after beating champions Valkyrs "A" 3-2.

Kim Carney scored twice for the leaders who are now 4 points clear at the top.

Elsewhere, Ramsey "A" beat a battling Saracens "A" 5-4 and the contest between Castletown "A" and Bacchas "A" ended in a 2-2 draw.

There are new leaders in the men's top flight.

Champions Bacchas "A" thrashed Valkyrs "A" 7-1 to move ahead of Vikings "A" at the top.

There were seven different scorers for Bacchas in the victory.

Saracens "A" got their first win of the season to continue their dramatic recent run.

They beat Ramsey "A" 3-2.
