Ayre won the G.H. Corlett Woods Cup Final in style on Good Friday.
The northerners beat Pulrose 7-1 at The Bowl with goals from Jason Craine (2), Paul Kennish, Phil Quayle, Chris Duggan, Tony Corlett and Ste Jordan.
Craig Cowin got a spectacular consolation effort for Pulrose.
The Douglas side had dedicated their appearance in the final to Special Olympian Gareth Cowin who passed away while representing the island earlier this year.
They were also missing four regular first ream players due to a stag weekend.
Ayre Manager Steve Jauncey was aware of the difficult circumstances of the opposition at the final whistle:-
