33 competitors included with the majority making Island Games debut
The Isle of Man athletics team for the 2023 Island Games has been confirmed today (30 April).
33 individuals have been selected, of which 18 make up the men's category and 15 in the women's.
No fewer than 20 of those making the journey will be making their Island Games debuts.
The men's team will include the likes of Alan Corlett - Island Games gold medallist in the steeplechase and 10,000m; Double gold-medallist distance runner, Ollie Lockley; high jump Island Games bronze medallist in 2019, James Margrave and javelin competitor, Joe Harris.
Meanwhile, the women's squad will feature the likes of four time individual gold medallist, Rachael Franklin and successful long-distance runner, Sarah Webster.
The 2023 Island Games will take place in Guernsey from 8-14 July.
