Champs hit 10

Two sides hoping to be title contenders shared four goals in the PwC Mixed Premier Division on Saturday.

Last season’s runners-up Valkyrs A and Vikings A could not be separated.

A double from Ollie Webster for Valkyrs was cancelled out by goals from Breesha Foxton and Alex Cain.

The champions Bacchas A put 10 past Celts.

Jamie Brown led the way with a four goal haul.

Chris Whiting (two), Tom Wilson (two), Andy Vernon-Browne and Kim Carney netted the others in the 10-3 triumph.

Paul Kelly (two) and Steve Ronan scored for battling Celts, playing their second match back in the top flight.

Andrew Kneale, Sophie Hudson and Gareth Craig were the scorers as Bacchas B saw off Ramsey A 3-0.
