A woman was seriously injured when she was hit by a car at the back of the Bowl in Douglas.
Police say the vehicle lost control near the Ellan Vannin gymnastics club at about 6pm yesterday (Tuesday).
The woman was taken to Noble's Hospital for treatment, where she remains, although officers say her injuries are not life-threatening.
There was a large number of people in the area at the time, and other vehicles, and police would like to hear from any witnesses.
Anyone who can help is asked to ring Lord Street Station via 631212.
