They gathered in the rain this morning (Monday) at St John's to remember those who died when a passenger aircraft crashed at Winter Hill near Bolton in February 1958.
A memorial service was held to commemorate the 35 Isle of Man residents who were killed in the air disaster.
Just seven people on board survived.
A short service at Cooil-ny-Ree, just to the north of Tynwald Hill, was conducted by the Reverend Leslie Guthrie with a few words from Sam Alder of Rotary.
