Use your vote carefully, pleads union leader

A trade union leader is calling on the citizens of the Isle of Man to use their vote carefully in the next general election.

Debbie Halsall of Unite appeared on Manx Radio's Perspective programme this week, to discuss the trade union movement on the Island.

Following the news that an emergency night shelter for the Island's homeless has provided almost 300 bed spaces for 43 different individuals, within its six months of opening, Mrs Halsall said poverty issues have to now be a top priority:

Mrs Halsall joined Dollin Mercer and William King live in the studio, along with Prospect leader Mick Hewer.
