Weather contingency for prom scheme

Project lead says bad weather has been factored in

Contingency plans are being put in place to provide for poor weather affecting Douglas promenade re-development work.

Preliminary work is underway on the two year scheme to revamp the capital's seafront roadway.

The £25 million project is estimated to take two years to complete.

Project Design Lead Keith Podmore says delays caused by poor weather have been taken into account.
