Victim Support volunteer drive

Victim Support Isle of Man's volunteer recruitment drive ends on Monday and the charity is urging more people to get involved, especially those who've already downloaded forms but haven't returned them yet.

It wants to recruit around 20 individuals who're available during the working day, who'll have the option of working in either its witness or victim support areas.

Victim Support IOM's Manager, Paula Gelling, says anyone can volunteer, no formal qualifications are needed, just to be a good listener, be patient and of good character.

She says being involved with the charity is a fantastic experience:
