UK-based Manx people call for IoM border change

Non-residents currently unable to visit loved ones

A number of those living in the UK with family on the Isle of Man are calling for changes to the border policy so they can visit loved ones.

Non-residents are currently unable to enter the Island without an exemption certificate, and even then must follow the 14 day self-isolation rule.

In Guernsey, those coming in from certain countries will soon be able to opt to quarantine for a week and be released provided they test negative for the virus.
