Education minister calls for politicians to set a better example
The education minister says the response from her Tynwald colleagues to government's handling of the future of the Southern Swimming Pool has been 'very disappointing'.
Julie Edge faced calls to resign at last week's sitting of the House of Keys following a u-turn over proposals to close the southern facility.
Funding to keep the site open for another year is now available, while a design showing a pool included in the replacement for Castle Rushen High School has been published.
Ms Edge says politicians need to be setting a better example:
Smile of Mann programme to start in primary schools next year
Loganair passengers yet to be reunited with bags left in Manchester on Sunday
Kirk Michael man taking on 31 marathons in 31 days in memory of friend
Government grant partially funded fishing vessel later used for smuggling
