Two men accused of conspiring over attacks

Pair charged with conspiracy and witness intimidation

Two Douglas men accused of conspiring together over two attacks have appeared in court.

Thirty-six-year-old Justin Grant Fayle of Tromode House appeared in the dock alongside 31-year-old Richard David Bell of Lord Street before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas courthouse.

No pleas have yet been entered by either man to two charges each of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm between 22-25 July.

Mr Fayle pleaded not guilty to witness intimidation on 11 November and supplying diazepam on 20 October.

Mrs Hughes committed both to the Court of General Gaol Delivery, where they’ll appear on a date to be fixed, and remanded Mr Fayle in custody while Mr Bell was bailed in the sum of £500.
