Two candidates contest local authority election

It's election day in Port St Mary.

The village is going to the polls to choose a new commissioner.

The two candidates vying to fill the seat made vacant when Ray Lakeman stepped down from the board are 39 year-old Martin Kennaugh and 25 year-old Helena Perry.

The polling station is at the Living Hope Church Hall, in Bay View Road.

Polling hours: 8am to 8pm.
