TTime for Superbike Saturday!

Blistering times set ahead of first race

After a near-flawless practice week it's time to get down to business as racing starts at TT 2016.

A number of competitors have registered laps over the 130mph mark and it looks set to be one of the most enthralling race weeks in years.

Ian Hutchinson is looking in fine form going into the first race, clocking an unofficial lap record in Friday night's session on his Superstock.

Michael Dunlop isn't far behind - he too beat John McGuinness' 2015 lap record as he leads the pack on the Superbikes.

Dunlop's going for the dozen as he chases his 12th victory in the Isle of Man and few would bet against him achieving it.

Many will still be confident 23-time winner John McGuinness can improve on a solid practice week, though, especially as he has Joey Dunlop's all-time record of 26 TT victories in his sights.
