But TTMA hoping for more cover for practice week and contingencies
The number of people signed on to be TT marshals for the 2023 races is 30 per cent higher than this time in 2022.
That's according to the TT Marshals Association (TTMA) which says it has more than 1,000 individuals already committed to marshalling sessions during the racing fortnight.
However, the organisation says numbers remain lower during practice week and particularly for contingency days.
TTMA Chairman, Jane Corlett, was also asked how they will be able to have the course covered with a busier ten-race programme this year:
