Trial for Onchan man who denies failing to stop at RTA

81-year-old allegedly injured woman on promenade

An Onchan man will stand trial after being accused of failing to stop after a road traffic accident.

Michael Croft, of King Edward Road, appeared at Douglas Courthouse where he also denied driving without due care and attention.

The eighty-one-year-old allegedly injured a woman following a collision on Loch Promenade on 2 December; he's also been charged with failing to report the incident.

A pre-trial review will take place on 23 July; he’s been bailed until that date.
