Time to make it 'harder and riskier' for organised criminals says DHA

New strategy to protect borders is published

Government says a new plan to better protect the Island’s borders will make it ‘harder and riskier’ for people to come to the Isle of Man to commit crime.

The Securing Our Island Strategy was launched this week.

It will see more scrutiny placed on private aviation, the collection of inbound and outbound passenger manifest data and the deployment of automatic number plate recognition technology.
