Time running out on health consultation

'SAVE scheme for health' draws to close

There's just one day left to make your views known on the future of health and social care in the Isle of Man.

A major public survey, which will form the basis of a review into how services are funded, is closing tomorrow, 7 August.

Former NHS trust boss Sir Jonathan Michael is leading the investigation into a 'modern, fit-for-purpose' healthcare system which operates within its budget.

Members of the public have been invited to submit cost saving ideas since June.

Around 150 suggestions have been tabled, including tax increases, mental health reform and cuts to unnecessary procedures.

But the Department of Health and Social Care still wants to hear more - and ministers are seeking 'views from different perspectives'.

There's still time to submit your comments via gov.im or by calling 650759.
