2025 marks 15 years of event
Tickets have been launched for the 15th anniversary of the Jamie Haslett Memorial Football Tournament.
Hosted by Victim Support Isle of Man and the Haslett family, there will be a mixed five-a-side, sponsored by Hansard and the Manx Telecom Marg McGee Community Award; meaning every penny raised goes to the charity.
Lorna Trevethan, CEO of Victim Support Isle of Man says: “This event has a great turnout each year and is a fun family friendly afternoon.
"We would like to add our thanks to those of the family and would especially like to thank Kyle Herman and Sean Pacey both of whom work really hard behind the scenes to help bring the tournament together.”
Last year the event raised £3,300, and tickets are on sale for £10 per player here: https://buytickets.at/victimsupportisleofman/1720139.
The event will take place on Saturday, 3 August at Laxey Football Club.
Jamie Haslett lost his life at the age of 19 in 2010 after being struck by a police patrol car - travelling at nearly twice the speed limit without lights or sirens - whilst he was a student at Sheffield Hallam University.
