Treasury carries out recruitment process as shareholder
The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is looking for a new chair.
Robert Quayle is retiring from the role at the end of March, after 11 years as chairman and more than 20 as a director.
The recruitment process is being carried out by the Steam Packet's sole shareholder - which is Treasury - after the organisation came under public ownership in May last year.
Details about the post will therefore be available on the treasury section of the Isle of Man Government website, and those interested in applying have until Sunday, 22 December to do so.
Minister Alf Cannan has emphasised the importance the new chair will play in a key transitional period for the Steam Packet - with a new ferry terminal in Liverpool, new vessels, and new strategic direction all in the pipeline.
Mr Cannan also thanked the outgoing chair, Robert Quayle, for his "long and diligent service."
