Tesco employee's head shave for cancer research

She is also shaving her head at the store

If you're in Tesco around 11am this morning, you may see a different set up at the front of the store.

Employee, Bea Cryer, turns 60 today and she celebrates her special day by raising awareness and funds for cancer research.

Bea lost three brothers to cancer, with the most recent death at the start of the year.

She told Manx Radio it was tradition in Thailand that 100 days after the death of a loved one a family member shaves their head and since she could not travel to do that - management at Tesco has allowed her to honor her traditions by shaving it at the store and donating it:

Her manager Neil Connell will also shave his head in support of Bea:
