Talks underway to rescue Flybe

Airline operates several routes at Ronaldsway

Talks to rescue one of the airlines that serves the Isle of Man are reportedly underway.

Sky News claims Flybe has been trying to secure additional funding less than a year after being bought by a Virgin Atlantic-led group.

It's reported the UK Government could step in to provide emergency financing to the firm, with more than 2,000 jobs at risk.

Flybe currently provides flights connecting the Isle of Man with Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester.
