Public Health asked to publish one by then, minister says
Public Health Isle of Man has been asked to publish a national suicide prevention strategy by the end of March this year.
That's according to the cabinet office minister who's been asked today when such a strategy will be brought forward.
Politicians were told the plan would be 'complex, long-term and involves many different agencies'.
Ms Lord-Brennan was also asked whether the Isle of Man could take lessons from how other jurisdictions approach this issue:
"Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital is not at risk of closure"
Douglas Council to sell 35 social housing properties to the private market
New public sector rent system provides certainty for local authorities, says minister
