More severe weather is on the way.
The Island's bracing itself to take another battering from strong winds up to severe gale force from early tomorrow morning (Friday, January 3), with damage and disruption likely.
There's a warning to households around the southern coastline, as gusts of up to 70 miles per hour combined with a high tide around midday, are set to cause flooding.
According to the Met Office, waves breaking over coastal roads and seafronts will create hazardous conditions as debris is thrown ashore.
Some waves are likely to break onto exposed seafronts around times of high tide with minor flooding possible in Douglas and the south of the Island.
Those strong winds could see ferry services to the UK disrupted again.
Tonight's 7.45pm crossing to Heysham is in doubt.
A decision on the sailing and overnight return service, will be made by the Steam Packet by 4 pm this afternoon.
And a similar warning of disruption or cancellation has already been posted for Friday night's Ben-my-Chree sailing and return on Saturday morning.
A number of Steam Packet sailings were cancelled due to storms during Christmas week, which saw 80 miles-per-hour winds and heavy rain lash the Island.
