Stage four border policy remains despite quarantine changes

Chief minister says infection rate in UK is still too high

The Island's border policy will remain at stage four, despite changes announced to quarantine rules for returning residents.

Chief Minister Howard Quayle announced an easing of restrictions at a 'one off' media conference this afternoon (3 September).

It means anyone arriving back on the Isle of Man can book in and pay for, a Covid-19 test - which if it comes back negative will end the self isolation after seven days instead of 14.
