Coverage will reach 650 million homes
The Southern 100 will get a primetime TV slot this year for UK viewers – raising the event’s profile.
A one-hour highlight show produced by Island company Greenlight TV will be shown on ITV4 and ITIV4 HD, on top of international coverage that’ll reach 650 million homes.
Organisers say the high-profile show will give them a chance to show the Billown meet at its best, and hopefully attract more spectators to the Island.
Phil Edge, the Southern 100’s press officer, says it’s a great opportunity to market the “Friendly Races”.
