Some Jurby bus services are to be reinstated

Scheduled routes to operate alongside connectVILLAGES

Some of the bus services to Jurby are being reinstated, following feedback from passengers and local residents.

The connectVILLAGES scheme will be altered from Monday, 4 November, to see more scheduled routes between the northern village and Ramsey.

Government says all passengers waiting at stops at the scheduled times will be collected, and pre-booking will not be necessary.

Minibuses will leave Jurby Bretney at 9.25am, 11.25am and 12.25pm, getting to Jurby Threshold five minutes later, and reaching Ramsey after a further half hour.

The return service will leave Ramsey bus station at 9am, 11am and midday.

The services will continue to be flexible, government says, and passengers can also be collected from their homes along the way by calling 697440 or visiting bus.im/connect.

Running from Monday to Saturday, standard fares apply, and Sunday services will remain unchanged.
