
Connecting with local communities has been the key to a significant fall in crime levels in the Isle of Man.
The Constabulary's Annual Report will be presented to Tynwald next week.
Chief Constable Mike Langdon (pictured) says the fall in recroded crime and rise in detection rates are the result of effective neighbourhood policing.
He says the force has taken a focused approach to tackle specific crimes and criminals (audio file attached):
