Serious injuries for man after fight at Jaks

Police appeal for information on bank holiday incident

Police are appealing for information following an incident in Douglas, which has left one man with serious injuries.

Officers were called to Granville Street in Douglas just after one o'clock this morning, following a report of a fight involving a group of four people.

Officers think the conflict started outside Jaks Bar, but may have also spilled out onto Loch Promenade.

A 38-year-old male was taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

Two males have been arrested and remain in police custody at this time.

Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident and are urging any witnesses to get in touch.
