Three races expected to take place today

All going well, the first TT for three years will conclude today.

Three races are due to take place - the Supersport 2, delayed from Wednesday, the Sidecar race 2 and the infamous Senior.

All contests will have reduced laps, but is that to do with scheduling or the welfare of the competitors?

We've been finding out from clerk of the course, Gary Thompson:

Whichever day it happens, the Senior is the "blue-ribbon" race of the festival.

Blood Biker, Andy, brought his dad Ted over to the TT for the first time - something he's 'wanted to do for years'.

"Frighten me to death!"

Ted told Lewis what it like seeing the bikes in person:

The roads are due to close at 10am, with the Supersport race first at 10.45am, the Sidecars at 12.30pm and the Senior at 2.15pm.
