Sailings in doubt due to Storm Éowyn

Heysham voyages subject to disruption or cancellation

A number of Steam Packet sailings from Thursday night throughout Friday (23-24 January) are in doubt due to strong winds associated with Storm Éowyn.

All Manxman sailings to Heysham and back, starting with the 7:15pm from Douglas tomorrow night up until the 1:45pm afternoon return from Lancashire on Friday, are subject to possible disruption or cancellation.

Ronaldsway Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for Friday (24 January) from 2am until 8pm.

Forecasters are expecting gale force winds on Friday morning to quickly increase to severe gale or storm force, with gusts of almost 80mph.

Currently, Friday evening's 7:15pm sailing to Heysham is set to go ahead as scheduled.

A decision on each sailing will be made by the master of the vessel around two hours before departure.
