Roads in Douglas remain closed whilst work is carried out to deal with a tree which is considered to be in danger of falling.

The Department of Infrastructure has closed Old Castletown Road and Leigh Terrace.

It’s shut between Ellenbrook/Whitehoe and Bridge Road/Stone Bridge.

Motorists have reported congestion – particularly around Tesco.

The DoI says it's not yet clear yet how long the closure will be in place.
