Drop-in sessions for Ballasalla, Port Erin and Castletown
Residents in the south of the Island are being invited to give their say on government's plan to combine health, social care and wellbeing services in the area.
The Southern Wellbeing Partnership is to be developed for people registered with GP practices in the south, the Ballasalla and Castletown Medical Centres and the Southern Group Practice.
Three drop-in sessions have been organised for residents to go along and hear more about the plans.
-Ballasalla: Thursday 10 September at Abbey Church Hall 2.30pm to 7pm
-Port Erin: Thursday 17 September at Thie Rosien from 2.30pm to 7pm
-Castletown: Thursday 24 September at The Engine House from 2.30 to 7pm
Minister for Health and Social Care David Ashford says ‘the drop-in sessions are a chance for the public to find out about the benefits of this approach and to help shape a new era of integrated services in the area.'
The move follows a pilot project in the west of the island and the launch of the Western Wellbeing Partnership in Peel in February 2020.
