Recognition for local woman's poverty work

An Island woman has been acknowledged as one of the UK's best Global Poverty Ambassadors.

In recognition of her work, Kristina Crawford attended the annual BBC Dimbleby lecture in London this week.

Billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates addressed the crowd about the fight to bring an end to polio.
