Recent survey findings 'echo' what local charities are dealing with

'We're a lifeline to them', says charity

Charities on the Isle of Man say the findings of a recent Social Attitudes Survey reflect some of the struggles they are working to address.

The survey, released earlier this month, highlights concerns about the standard of living on the Island.

It found that those under 40 living on the Isle of Man are less satisfied or happy in their lives compared to the older demographic. 

The survey also found 13 percent of respondents went without heat, while 6.7 percent didn't get a cooked meal each day.
