Lawrie Hooper believes town is in a strong position to support development
A Ramsey MHK believes the town has the infrastructure to support the development of a 400-berth marina.
Lawrie Hooper was among those attending the public meeting to discuss the plans at the Mountain View Innovation Centre last night (Wednesday).
Some in the audience expressed concerns about extra traffic and demands on services in the area.
Mr Hooper believes Ramsey is already in a strong position, but he wants to see investment in infrastructure across the Island:
More services to be temporarily relocated from Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital
Warning in place for coastal overtopping
